I remember the first time I met you. We were at a lunch, and there you were beautiful as ever, outspoken, fun and vibrant with a touch of naughtiness. Just my type of girlfriend. And what good friends we became. I felt so lucky, privileged and truly blessed to have you in my life. The blurred Noosa holidays, swimming, eating and drinking too much and the shopping of course are some of my fondest memories. Then your visits here and mine to Melbourne when we would stay up most of the night putting the world to rights. We cried. we laughed and we hugged when we needed it. I felt the injustice and thought of you always when you became unwell, and my only regret is not to have been with you to support you. I hope you rest in peace my darling friend. You are one of the most amazing person I have ever known and you will stay in my heart forever. Martine
