Updates on how funerals will be affected
Return to Stage 3 Restrictions
Update - 8th July 2020
To our Client Families and Friends,
During these uncertain and difficult times, as we once again find ourselves navigating stage 3 restriction, we at Carlyle Family Funerals are committed to caring for our client families, whilst following government guidelines to ensure the safety of you, your loved ones and our staff.
Premier Dan Andrews has announced that as of 9th July, 10 mourners will be permitted to attend funerals both indoors and outdoors. Social distancing will still need to be followed at all venues and outdoor locations, and as per government requirements, the contact details of all mourners will need to be taken to assist with tracing if needed.
Just a reminder that Springvale Botanical Cemetery are still recording chapel services and uploading to a private link later the same day for viewing by any family and friends unable to attend due to restrictions. They also continue to live stream burial services.
The Fawkner, Altona and Lilydale Memorial Parks are live streaming all chapel services, with an option for the service to be downloaded and saved by the family for a period of up to 90 days after. Due to COVID -19 restrictions both are providing these services free of charge until further notice.
If neither of the options offered by the cemeteries suit your needs, we can arrange for the service to be professionally live streamed for you. The single service cremation package, live streamed is $5,900 which also includes several recorded copies of the service for the family to keep, and, as we are no longer providing memorial books for signing, we will provide 10 double sided personalised memorial cards.
We thank you all for your understanding and patience as we all do our best to get through these challenging times. As always, we are here for any advice or assistance you may need 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
Stay safe, take care of yourselves and be kind to one another.
